1331 Creative, the marketing
and design group of CBS13/CW31 in Sacramento, CA, is looking for a Graphics
Manager to join our dynamic team. We strive to produce compelling, high-impact
graphic designs.
Our goal is to exceed client/viewer expectations while
maintaining an infectiously positive attitude. This position requires someone
with an eye for great design, a strong work ethic, and a sense of
humor.
Responsibilities:
· Work with team to create
engaging graphics by staying current on the latest design trends and providing
creative input
· Manage the day-to-day
operations of 5 designers
· Handle multiple projects
in a fast-paced environment, for our news, promotion and commercial production
teams
· Review design work for
accuracy and completeness
· Hands-on leadership
committed to team building
· Create a respectful
environment, one that is committed to professionalism and best
practices
· Ability to organize and
carry out multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
Minimum
Requirements:

A killer
reel
·
Expert knowledge of
After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
·
C4D, Chyron &
Final Cut Pro experience bumps you to the top of the list
·
A passion for
producing motion graphics that break through the clutter
·
Must have the ability to
offer direction and implement strategies; while also being
collaborative—demonstrating the ability to take direction but also be able to
make decisions
Additional
Requirements:
·
A minimum of five years
experience working as a designer within a collaborative environment. Team
leadership or management experience is preferred
·
Exceptional written and
verbal communication and interaction skills
·
Proven ability to
prioritize tasks and drive projects to completion
