This is a night-side position in the Creative Services Department responsible for bringing the WLWT News brand to life through compelling topical writing, editing and strategic conceptualization. Job Responsibilities:
•Write, shoot, produce and edit attention grabbing topical promotions.
•Use the station’s social media and digital platforms to drive awareness, viewing and audience engagement.
•Produce promotion for targeted sweeps stories and digital platforms.
•Edit using Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere.
•Deal with the challenges of time-sensitive deadlines without compromising.
•Communicate effectively with reporters, photographers, and managers.
•Take a proactive approach to problem solving, and freely contribute to the creative process.
•Be a strong communicator with effective time management skills and attention for detail.
•Make strategic, clear, and timely decisions when a manager is not available.
•Work flexible hours and occasional weekends. Required Skills
•Excellent writing, shooting, and non-linear editing ability.
•Experience with ENPS and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
•Advanced knowledge of social media platforms, i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
•Drive company vehicles if necessary (Valid Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record Check required) Education:
•College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

Required Experience
•Media professionals only.
•Minimum two years’ experience at a broadcast TV station or cable network in a similar role.
•Proven writing, shooting and editing skills in the development of original marketing with a focus on news topical promotion.

* Demonstrate advanced proficiency shooting HD and 4K video with a variety of different cameras including DSLR and Canon’s C300.
* Create, update and enhance station on-air image, entertainment promos and graphics.
* Hands-on editing and online editing supervision.
* Contribute to brainstorm sessions across all departments.

Qualifications Requirements:
* Advanced skills and experience working with Adobe Premiere.
* Must have experience with the Magic Bullet Suite, the Trapcode Suite, Video Copilot Optical Flares and Video Copilot Element 3D and Cinema 4D Studio.
* Must possess outstanding skills in videography and studio/field lighting.
* Demonstrate ability to write compelling, conversational copy. Strong image and promotion writing skills.
* Must work well under tight deadlines.
* Must be a team player and think outside the box.
* Television Writer/Producer experience preferred.

Cincinnati was hit with some servere weather last week ( a few tornadoes touched down as well). We went out with our reporters and got some broll of some of the areas hit the hardest. With all the damage we saw, we saw a community coming together and helping each other. CBS North Carolina in Raleigh has an opening for a Marketing Producer position. This creative individual will be responsible for writing and producing station image, news image, daily news topicals and sales projects as well as anything else we throw your way. If you’re a team player and like to produce, this is the job for you. In addition to your creativity, you’ll need excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to work with multiple departments on multiple assignments in a fast paced environment. Applicants must be an Adobe After Effects pro and a hands-on non-linear editing wizard, preferably on Premiere. Candidate must know how to shoot (DSLR cameras) with understanding of lighting/cinema lenses. You must be able to see projects through from start to finish and feel comfortable working within a team. Must have at least 3 years of editing and shooting, whether that is within news or promotions. Experience within promotions preferred. Applicant needs to be proficient on the Adobe Platform.
