Darby Douglas Returns to KHOU
Darby Douglas was the traffic guy when I worked at KHOU in Houston back in the early 2000s.
He went away for awhile(left the station, not went to jail) -- but now he's back!
Great guy and a great traffic reporter. Here's the new spot welcoming Darby back to 11.

Here are two new spots from KING in Seattle.
Both represent their new owner's sensibilities -- new color-coded graphics package and the "This is Home" theme used in many of the Gannett markets.

Promax Station Summit 2014
I had a fantastic week in Vegas with some of the best of the best promo professionals.
From Graeme Newell's great session to the awards show to the super awesome green drinks at the Mixpo opening party(I had 3) -- it was an inspiring week.
It was great to see so many old friends and exciting to meet so many new ones.
To those of you who recognized me from the blog and said hello - I say, thank you!
It was a lot of fun meeting you and I was glad to hear you enjoy IDOPROMOZ.
Here was my favorite spot I saw - mainly because the visuals are so striking. I've never seen this before - and that's hard to say in today's world!
