I posted this last year - but think its a good idea to look at for this holiday season!


Holiday Idea
I ran across this idea at WFAA.COM... a great way to make more money for whatever charity your station is working with this holiday.

They are auctioning off Christmas trees decorated with all kinds of gifts(gift cards, tickets to shows, sports team tickets, autographed items, etc)

A really cool idea. A way to get people who may not donate otherwise but would bid on something cool.

Ok, now this is pretty funny. Again, not sure I'd make appointment television for this -- but a pretty memorable promo... better than the typical crap.

WSB Weather Promo

This seems like a spot from another time. If it weren't for the flatscreens -- what year would you think this spot was from?

Ah, sweeps.

What war? Wall Street? Barack who?

Its sweeps time - and that means stories that have no great value, but still somehow bring viewers to the TV.

Hothaus Creative Latest

It has been a tough couple of weeks finding spots to share from youtube. With sweeps - I guess everyone has better things to do than post spots.

So I'll direct your attention to Hothaus Creative out of Dallas. Their website has a bunch of great spots featured in their "lastest work" section. Many you may have seen here before -- many that you have not.
