Cox Media Group Orlando (WFTV/WRDQ) has an immediate opening for a Senior Writer Producer.
As Senior Writer Producer you will be a key creator on a talented and hand-picked team dedicated to producing advertising and creative for our most important brands. From image campaigns to sweeps you’ll craft spots and other advertising for top-rated brands like Eyewitness News, Severe Weather Center 9, and more.
At Cox Media Group, our brands are built and evolved with rigorous testing and research. We use language and creative tradecraft to connect those brands to regular people in a powerful way. We are looking for a highly skilled writer, editor, motion graphic designer, and digital cinematographer.
If you have a strong combination of these skills, and a reel that demonstrates them, we want to talk to you.
Responsibilities: Writing, editing, motion graphic design, cinematography, lighting, creative direction, brainstorming, project management, location scouting, directing talent, collaboration, team work, delegation, teaching and learning. You will take projects from concept to completion. You will also play a supporting role on other projects leveraging your strengths. You should have excellent communication skills, and be able to effectively manage several competing projects and priorities.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree 3 years Television promotion experience or 3 years experience as a writer/producer News marketing experience preferred Experience with Adobe Creative and After Effects Experience with digital cinema cameras, lenses, support gear, and motion rigs strongly preferred
