WTF?
I've never seen it like this in my 20+ years.
What the hell is going on? Where did all the producers go?
I'd like to hear from all the producers/managers out there(the ones that are left apparently) -- why are so many jobs going unfilled?
Leave an anonymous post if you'd like. I'm curious -- is it money? not wanting to move? getting tired of the promo game?
I'd love an honest discussion on what's happening out there in promo land.
The best(and sometimes the worst) promos around! Have something you'd like to share? Email me at donsjr@hotmail.com

Need a Job?
From our friend Paul Greeley:
A 10 year veteran of KKTV has moved on to a local production house and thus we're looking for a creative genius...
KKTV, Channel 11, the CBS affiliate in Colorado Springs, is looking for a writer/producer/editor to join the creative services dept.
KKTV is looking for an experienced broadcast writer, producer, shooter, and editor equally adept at handling our clients’ commercials as well as working with our news dept to do news image and news topicals. Part of the duties of this position is working with the news dept to create effective news topicals for the 10pm news. The qualified candidate should have strong graphic designer skills that include After Effects, Illustrator, PhotoShop, etc.
Prior experience with VIZRT preferred.
Come live in the #1 Best Places to Live (Money Magazine, Best Big City, 2006) and America’s Best City (Outside Magazine, 2009). In the shadow of one of the most famous American mountains , Pike’s Peak, it’s Colorado’s largest city in area and second only to Denver (60 miles north) in population.
