Music was done by 615 Music - which I think has done MUCH better work... this is not very memorable.

New WCBS WX Promos

Here are some spots from WCBS in New York. I'm not sure if I like them - as the ones WCCO did were infinitely better. I think its the talent that I don't like in these... they seem... silly. The production is nice and simple - but it makes the weather weasels look less than credible. I think the point is to show how much these people know about weather - but it comes across as trivial.

WKMG Promos

Ok, these spots are from the competition in my market - so I'm automatically not supposed to like them ... but I wanted to get the opinion of others. I think the anchors do an ok job with it - but it just seems so... fake. So staged.

Now, is that because I'm a tv guy or do all viewers see through this stuff? I can't honestly say I know for sure that viewers are smart enough for that... maybe they eat this up. These spots actually make me throw up in my mouth a little bit.
