The spots are fun, love the graphics. The white background is a little played out (I watched a commercial break the other day where every spot except 1 had the white background). But nice look overall. Their weather guy pulled off the acting too...not something most anchors can do!
As far as the first 10 minutes weather forecast concept, I'll be interested to see how that works for them...
Anonymous, does every station in your market do the ENTIRE forecast, or did you miss that part?
Every station in my market does weather in the first 10 minutes too. We're the only ones doing more than an overblown tease and it's actually working for us.
First spot is excellent. Great graphic treatment, especially the news timeline. Bet the Sports guy was happy with the subtle jab in # 1! # 2 and # 3, not so much my style. Not a fan of any talent acting. Leave that to the reality stars.

Really like these spots. We do something similar in our shows but I've gotta admit the spots I came up with were nowhere near this good.

First, white? enough already. for the love of God, do something else, scroll down and count the promos with a white background, you'll loose track.

I get weather on my phone. But then again, I'm usually surprised when it rains.
