Is this the same station that did all the other Adult Swim knockoffs? Looks like the promo team is amusing themselves with no regard for a clear marketing message. I don't see how just being the "funny" station gets viewers to watch news.
I've seen funny promos that further a station's agenda. This is not one of them.
do you know your audience? have these spots translated to ratings? outside looking in, they seem like a colossal waste of time and space--a ripoff void of any and all creativity. but all the experts checking this blog (and the expert behind it) could be absolutely wrong.

Feels like a late desperate attempt to appear relevant to an audience that wouldn't respond positively to that message in the first place.
Also, did they really license that song to play three seconds of it at the end?
