I really hate tribune's lovefest with "regular everyday voices" for announcers. I can understand wanting someone who doesn't sound like the typical, booming announcer voice that we're used to, but get a professional who can sound like a normal human being, not like some college kid recording into his laptop's microphone.

I suppose they will pull the promo when he dies... and maybe then WSFL will feel bad for trying to capitalize on a man with some serious issues.

Gack, the VO guy is terrrrible!
His levels are all over the place...
South Florida is better than that.
WJW in Cleveland did the same thing. Definitely takes away the credibility of a news organization.
