These promos really do a good job of marketing NBC6 and also South Florida lifestyle. The problem exists though (LOL) is that they are not even first place in their own building much less their own market. Telemundo 51 (in the same Miramar complex as NBC6) is currently sitting in first place and although NBC6 has really rebuilt themselves somewhat, the problem lies in the fact that they have been rebuilding from the rubble that was caused from the near sale to Washington Post company and Local 10 not too long ago. Couple that with Spanish Stations taking one/two in overall ratings and then tabloid 7 and 10 fighting it out. But I digressed there. NBC Miami is doing something at least innovative and I hope these promos continue.

The first spot makes me think of all the wonderful things I can do in Miami instead of watching TV. Is that the message they were going for?
