KPIX: "It's Frankie!"
A nice little spot introducing a new anchor in San Francisco. He's a hometown boy - and this spot plays to that perfectly.

A great spot to introduce a new talent into the market. Especially one who always wanted to work in the market. I don't know him but based on this spot, I already like him. So many news image spots tend to be over-produced, but this is just a simple idea--talk to those who know the talent--and edit together what they say. Paul Greeley pgreeley98@aol.com

I agree. Not sure why there's so many off the marks. I'd like to see their ideas to intro a new guy.
The girl in the Boston hat through me off a bit...I think they are illegal to wear in Frisco...ha...but good production values.
I'm not sure why people marked it "Off the Mark" or "What the Hell..." --- comment and let us know why you didn't care for the spot.
Note: Mallicoat worked many years in Boston on WLVI and then WFXT. The Red Sox cap is a consequence, but I agree, throw in a Giants cap.
And yes, being from the Boston market, I have seen him a few times at 10pm.
