TERRIBLE!

Lets start with how bad the two main anchors look! They look old, sorry to say. Shots like that have no place in an image spot. We're supposed to make our anchors look good... that's a basic.

Next: when will stations STOP promoting themselves in the same, tired way?

Are viewers really going to watch you because you say you have the best breaking news, weather and investigative stories? Every single station in the market can claim the same. Hell, every station in the nation claims that.

BE DIFFERENT! Sell what makes you unique. Otherwise, you're wasting your time and money with spots like these.

Sorry to be so harsh but from market #2 - this is a gigantic miss. These won't help ratings one bit.

Ugh! I agree.

I've noticed several spots from the NBC O&Os lately have been beautiful with a rather dull message.

Anyone know if corporate is pushing thier stations in a certain direction?

The messaging is so boring.

I think Mother built a package a while back,after NBC consolidated local station promotions.
Not sure what the extent of the relationship is now, however..
