I'm partial to VideoHelper, which be indispensible in certain circumstances. Unfortunately they're now EVERYWHERE because they're everyone else's favorites too. In my market, 3 out of the 4 stations doing news license VideoHelper.

We use a variety. Mainly Megatrax, but also VideoHelper.

Videohelper - and it's not even close. It's the most practical library, rarely do I hear tracks and say "I'd never use that in a million years!" The instruments also sounds less synthesized to me than other libraries.

Firstcom

Killertracks, but only b/c that's what we've had for years. I've never really compared with anything else, but I've always been happy and found what I need at KT.

VideoHelper first. Killer Tracks second.

I've used several...but VideoHelper has had the most consistent, useful, and usable cuts.

I'll second FirstCom, especially the more recent releases.

Jingle Punks is smaller library which is great if you want unique cuts that don't sound like the usual promo music fare. First Com is hard to beat since the library is so vast. Megatrax is a good standby for typical news promo music. I loved using Video Helper, but agree that their music is everywhere!
