WBZ Sports Promo

Here's a nice spot for WBZ's show "Fifth Quarter"...

We did something like this at KHOU... I like some of the small touches done here:

That was good. Great shots building up the the game in the bar. The father and daughter was a little awkward at the end. I think they still should have ended on that shot, just have the father/daughter do something different than the high five. Everyone else help up their arms like a touchdown call. They could have left the shot low - but both standing, having the little girl holding her arms up and just see pop's belly.

I know what ya felt bobby, but I felt the awkwardness was one of those nice small touches. To me, it felt like the girl really did not know what was going on and she was happy that daddy was happy!

Nicely shot. Nice build up.
But, is anyone else bothered by the continuity of this spot? All of these people are watching the same game right? So, what time is it?
If it's night... why is the mechanic at work?
If it's day...why is that guy cleaning the floor in an empty mall?
If it's night and the mall is empty... why is that other guy watching the game inside a store?
If it's night... why is the 5 year old girl still awake (remember, night-time NFL games start at 9pm)?
It's hard to tell from the game footage whether it's day or night...and this gaping hole in the continuity bothers me.
Actually, the more I watch it the more this bothers me... and the more the music starts to creep me out. Sounds like something from The Sixth Sense.

Ummm... what's on? The showdown between the Pats and Chargers I get...but what is Fifth Quarter? A show, a segment...fan's perspective? I know they don't want to say 'post-game highlights and interviews', but throw me a bone here.
I guess you have to live there to 'get it' ; P

It's WBZ's post-game show. Which is on after the Patriots game which is usually on WBZ.
