My Big News!

After three and a half years at WESH-TV in Orlando -- I'm packing up and taking a new job in Salt Lake City.

I'll be Creative Services Director at KTVX and KUCW, the ABC and CW affiliates. I'll be working with a great group of people and can't wait to get started.

I'll see WESH in my rearview mirror come Thanksgiving and will begin my new job in early December. Its going to be one loooooonnnnnngggg drive... but I've got my Sirius radio, plenty of bad road food plus I'll get the chance to stop off and see family and friends along the way.

Speaking of friends - I'll certainly miss many of the great people I've met in Orlando. They are some of the nicest people I've ever worked with and I consider many lifelong friends. You're all welcome to come snow ski and stay at my place!

I look forward to posting Utah promos in the near future!!

Congrats. Wow. That station has been through A LOT in the past year... so I wish you the best of luck. I spent 2 years at KSL. I'm anxious to see what you think of the market and the station. Good Luck!

I wish you well on this one, Don. You'll definitely have your hands full...this station has had serious problems for years and things don't look better with current mgmt. But, on the bright side, you'll definitely gain a lot of experience and work with some great people (those that are left, anyway)!!

I've never worked at a station that wasn't full of problems... and I'm pretty sure you haven't either.
Don't let 'em kill your joy! Your knowledge and positive influence will be just what that Salt Lake station needs.
You rock!
