I love the curiosity campaign. It's intelligent and makes me feel like I'm part of the collective. But there's absolutely nothing about that first spot that makes me want to tune in for the story. Nothing. "Why are we so rude?" Are you really gonna answer that in a 3 minute news story? A rare miss for a usually top notch team.
I like the "why are we rude" story. Problem is. It should be an interactive, web-based story. These kinds of stories create conversation, which you need to do online.
I love the setting and shot of conversation nation. It was a bit long though and felt like it wasn't going anywhere.
Conversation Nation. Ugh. Here's a novel idea...how 'bout you talk to your neighbors instead? In person. Face to face. You'll be amazed how much better you'll feel. Neighbors can make your 'community' a much better place to live than any tv station can.

The curiosity spot is a good franchise promo for their brand.
Maybe it's just me, but I kind of zoned out after the first 15 seconds of the conversation nation.
And I'm curious how they shot it so quick, so the sun and shadows don't move with each cut.

Sorry... I'm having to think too much about conversation nation!
Evil Monkey, if anything it highlights their brand. It seems WCCO does the same featurey stories for their "Good Question" segment.
Will I tune in for it? Depends on the story of the day, but most seem interesting enough.

Sorry... my real-life neighbors scare me. I wear a tin foil hat so they can't listen to my thoughts.
