Very nice trailer. Good tone & pacing. Very small thing, the word "stories" was larger and clear while the rest of the line, the part that kept changing was smaller & harder to read. Personally, I would have reversed that. Good idea, might mean more to me if i knew that the proceeds were going to help those families and that the station wasn't just making money from the tragedy. We did a documentary after the tornado that hit Nashville in 98, but it helped raise money for victims. It was promoted as a way to help the community.Nice Job - I want to see the documentary.
Yes, a portion of the proceeds did go to a state-established disasters fund. We were very mindful of that. Profiting from someone else's misery doesn't fly real well in Iowa. :)
Sorry, but I found them boring.
well done. these hit home for me, originally being from iowa-since i know people living through these disasters. maybe that's why anonymous found them "boring"? the pacing felt good-it's easy with things like this to try to cram in all of that wonderful/horrible footage, the few pictures you chose were well placed.
Thanks! And Anon... why on earth are you apologizing? That's so not like you.But thanks for the constructive feedback. :)
