I like the concept. Just might need a real audio booth for the singers. And maybe more in tune?
Melodyne, Autotune, or even the free Gsnap can fix the intonation issues.You can "hide" the room sound with a little (and I mean little) reverb or delay on the vocals. Just so it matches the slight reverb on the backing track drums. Cool concept though.
