Good Day: Wrapped Up in the Holidays

Our Christmas spot this year:

LOVE the spot, but who's so under-worked during their shifts that they've got time to wrap ALL that stuff in paper?

I've never understood comments like that. Good spots take time no matter what you do. Would you question the leg work that goes into a complicated 3D render for web spot? Or taking time to shoot reporter crews on location? Probably not.

So why question the amount of time and effort that goes into a Christmas spot? It's gotta get done and it has to look good, right!

Great promo!

Great spot.

Quick question: do you ever get any feedback from other anchors wondering why they are not included in the holiday spot? (It looks like this is morning-centric)

If so, how do you handle?

Original, inventive, memorable, fun. I'd like to know how the story behind wrapping that news van.
The idea is great, and you pulled it off with style.

We have a big cast - so not everyone can be in everything.

Our anchors have been great about it - and we do our best to include as many as we can.

In this one -- 12 different talent.
