People don't say content is king. People don't talk like that. That's how consultants and marketers and social media gurus talk. This feels like a promotional video in a sales presentation.

The copy is not conversational. The shots of the anchors are awkward & uncomfortable. CCO usually does really great work, so this is disappointing.

This may be the worst thing CCO has ever put out.

Wow... how did station that was brilliant at marketing for so long take a turn for the worse so quickly? The last year or so they've been cranking out nothing but "off the mark" spots.

Terrible... BTW - The word "content" is never said by everyday people.

Why are almost all the negative comments here always anonymous? Put your name on it and give constructive criticism, this is a pretty small community. I'd probably spend a little time defining what "content is king" means, but the common thread in production style is great.

I don't work for or with this station.

This is a sad set of spots to see from WCCO; a promotion group I used to admire as among the very best. The visuals are still interesting, but the copy is totally off viewer-pulse, in my opinion. "Content" is not a concept discussed outside of marketing circles--even in a hip market like the Twin Cities. The "Always" slogan feels shoehorned into this message. CCO suffered some big personnel losses in Wendy and Erica, but there's still talent in that unit... talent capable of producing messaging better than this.
