Ha ha ha ha haaaa! I love that! That drove me nuts when I saw it. I never noticed when shooting, I was worried about other things. Ha ha.
I feel bad for the poor producer or designer who delivered a really stylized spot only to have a manager insist on a hastily added email address tacked on to the lower third. It unbalances everything visually.
