Here are a few spots from WBZ in Boston. They have a different feel -- sparking a conversation with the audience. What do you all think? Does the simple production work?

Sweeping Up with WCCO and WBZ
It's that time of year again. No wait, no it isn't!
It's sweeps -- but at the wrong time of year.
But for a good reason. No wait, no it isn't!
And so goes "March sweeps" -- moved here for the DTV switch that never happened.
So here are 2 sweeps promos from 2 of my favorite stations:
This one is from WBZ and features voice stud John Pleisse:

Iowa WX Promos
I applaud them trying something different - but the overacting really bothers me. And I think the woman in the second spot is really going to regret that hairdo.

KGO Spot
Here's a nice concept from KGO in San Francisco. Similar to others(WCCO/WBZ) -- but hey, what spot isn't in some way?
KNBC: Fritz's New Partner
Ummm... I kinda like this and I kinda don't.
I love that it's not your typical promo. It works on so many levels.
My biggest problem is KNBC in Los Angeles seems very stuck back in the 70s. Listen to that music! A lot of their promos seems lke they're from another time.
Otherwise -- A+ for something new(that feels kinda old?)
