As November approaches... we're all trying to figure out great stories for the book.
A good one we do every year at this time is the Black Friday ads... thanksgiving sales papers, found online a week ahead. Helps people find the best deals - before they head out shopping.
Is this an oldie that EVERYONE knows and does?
Any other great ideas to share?

An idea for a heartwarming Thanksgiving piece could be to highlighting lesser known people in your community who are giving back.
Not the usual ones who are always in the news giving donations, etc...but everyday people who truly show a sense of Thanksgiving and have a spirit for helping others out of the kindness of their hearts.
At one station where I worked, they did an ambush make-over. Had the talent, makeup and hair folks in a limo, picked out a woman in a parking lot and whisked her off for a make-over.
It was a fun series.
