We shoot everything. Work in HD. We have 4 fully stocked Final Cut Pro suites and use them. We promote 65 hours of news between our two stations, so we do LOTS of high creative on tight deadlines. We’re located in West Sacramento, nestled between two beautiful rivers, and an hour from either San Francisco , Lake Tahoe, and Napa .

Maybe it's just me, but the snarky preditor headline is a big turn-off.
Makes the station sound like a dick.
If you knew us - you'd know we're not dicks at all. Douche bags maybe... but definitely not dicks. :)
Actually - the line is meant to weed out the folks who's promo experience is mainly holding a sandwich board outside Papa Johns.
Sorry to offend... we have a terrific department here and want someone who knocks out the best promos around, loves what they do, and hast a great sense of humor.
I have to agree that the line at the top is rude. It will weed out inexperienced people, but it also sends a message that you don't want to send.
What are you looking to fill...primetime, image, commercial producer? How many people are in your dept now? Thanks...and I wasn't turned off at all by your post.
Our promo producers do image/topical/franchise spots.

Gotta say: anytime a station uses the word preditor I stop reading.
Hate the word. Hate that it defines our craft.
Also, you spelled it two different ways in the job listing. Just sayin'
