WCCO Morning Image

I really love the feel of these.  Genuine.  I like these anchors more after watching - and hey, isn't that the goal?

Very nice looking spots with a fresh approach. I watched some of the producer's other spots and noticed that he's shooting on a 5D, C100 and Sony FS100, with L series and Cinema prime lenses!!!

I'm in a top 20 market and we're lucky to get a 60D with stock lenses. Not to stray off topic here, but what kind of gear budget do your promo depts have? I'm guessing they might rent at WCCO seeing as that prime lens alone is $5,000. But still...

kudos to these anchors, who have the rare ability to not talk like anchors.

I'm in a top 50 market and we just spent about $11K on a Canon C100 camera package with lenses and other accessories. Took me about 2 1/2 years to convince the station to spend the money. We would rent equipment (or use my personal equip) and the GM and ND would be so impress with the look. Told them how much we spent in renting and how much we would save in buying. It only made sense. Plus I hate using my own gear on shoots. I don't like to take the risk of my stuff breaking. If station gear breaks, it gets fixed or replaced asap.
