Promotions Writer/Producer/Editor
WWL-TV, the CBS affiliate in New Orleans, seeks a highly motivated, innovative Promotions Writer/Producer/Editor to join the station’s award-winning creative team. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills and extensive experience in Avid and the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and After Effects. Two to three years writing, producing, and editing topical, image, and sweeps promotion is preferred. Candidate must be a motivated self-starter able work under tight deadlines, be an excellent problem solver, and a team player.
 
Job Responsibilities:
·        Write, produce, and edit compelling and engaging topical, image, and sweeps promotion that enforces the station brand generating viewer interest
·        Manage multiple projects and priorities under deadline
·        Assist with station logs as needed
 
Education/Experience:
·        A degree in marketing, advertising, broadcasting or communications related field
·        Experience with Avid and the Adobe Creative Suite; including Photoshop and After Effects
·        Familiar with modern production techniques & experience shooting video is a plus
