Thank God This Didn't Happen at Your Station!(Unless you are WEWS)

Sweeps can suck. This sucks more.

When WEWS in Cleveland had technical difficulties during the "Lost" finale -- the station "Troubleshooters" launched an investigation - into themselves.

I can't imagine having to work at that station today. Wow city. They need to stop pretending they can make this up by airing it multiple times after the rest of the planet has seen it. They clearly don't grasp the implications of the event.

Interesting that they seem to have 2 different excuses - was the signal interfered with (as the reporter says) or was it a problem with the digital equipment (as the GM says)????

And that line “to make sure it never happens again” is an empty promise that no tv station should make.

Bullshit WEWS! If you really wanted to make it up you would re-air the finale in lieu of your newscasts instead of waiting until next Saturday night. Keep it in the book. The finale was already scheduled to be aired again the following week. We missed the first entire hour of the finale at my Lost party due to this crap. What are your advertisers saying when their spots were unwatchable?

Was this a problem with people on cable or DirecTV? Probably not (issue was between station and transmitter?)
