KPIX: Consumer Volunteers

I really like this spot out of San Francisco.

Great great spot, so nice to see.
I worked at a shop once that had a helpline open during normal business hours. I could never decide what made me happier.. seeing a room full of retired folks happily taking calls,
or the fact that the thing was such a hit 365 days a year. Even Today, I'd bet anything those phones are still ringing off the hook.

I like the style of the spot - very simplistic, nice shot compositions, nice music. It did confuse me a bit, though. I first thought these average looking, older people were scammers, not part of the consumer unit.

I agree with the last post...I was getting a little angry at these people who apparently 'love' things that are real and heartbreaking problems for people. And yes, I though they were the ones causing the problem. Maybe if the CG was tweaked to say 'I love stopping identity theft', etc, it might have played less confusing. Well shot though.

That's the beauty of this spot. The intrigue of who these people might be and then finding out they are the volunteers who will love to help solve our consumer problems. Great spot!

It's beautifully shot, but I don't agree with the last poster about the intrigue of who these people are.

It was confusing.
