CBS 13 in Sacramento, CA(my station!) is looking for a news topical writer, producer, shooter and editor for daily news topicals. You need solid news judgment, good conversational writing skills and the ability to work creatively under tight deadline pressure. CBS 13 is a well-branded and highly creative team environment with an aggressive and innovative style.
The news topical producer will report to the Promotion Manager but work closely with CBS 13 newsroom staff. Previous topical writing and editing experience is a requirement. Those applying should have a minimum of 3-years writing or producing experience in a news station. Former or current news producers with technical and creative abilities are encouraged to apply.
