Cleverly written around the facts... the truth is the station allegedly knew he had done nothing wrong. According to details - the cop was called to the scene where a man had busted out a window of a taxi cab.
The driver wanted $300 for damages - so the cop went to the ATM to get the cash for the cabbie.
The officer was cleared of any wrongdoing - TWO MONTHS BEFORE this investigation "months in the making" was aired.
Ouch. Thoughts?

This promo was going around the office a couple months ago. I thought it was sensational then, with a lot of wording that made people think the officer was doing something wrong.
The thing is, most viewers probably knew the promo was BS.
They deserve to get sued.
