I don't really get it... have there been a lot of complaints about the switch to HD?

MY idea for a terrible HD conversion spots goes like this:

You shoot a busty model from the point-of-view of the new camera. The girl is flirty, bendy, whatever.. She's a TEN.

Then you have her utter sexual innuendos like...

"Oh my, that's a long lens you have"

"MMMmmm baby, I can't even count all those pixles.. teehee"

"Yeah, I love 69... Oh it's 16x9? I love it when you talk digital to me"

So on, and so forth...

THEN, you tie in the old camera sitting in the corner (covered in cob webs for dramatic effect)

"Oh don't worry about that old square ("square," get it?) baby, HD is the only one for me"

End graphic reads: "WXXX coming soon in high definition (jugs not included)"

I mean REALLY if you're going to go BAD, at least go BIG.

(PS, any CW producer that can make this happen, you're my God)

Tough room... I agree it's not so good... but ouch to the producer who obviously tried to step out of the box and create something different! Sometimes stepping out of the "usual box" badly is better than not stepping out at all.

I appreciate that this producer tried to do something different.
BUT -
Is Paul serious? There's enough objectification of women as it is without throwing it into a promo. Your idea is horrendous.

Um, what is the viewer benefit here? That spot makes no sense.

I opened that post with, "MY idea for a terrible HD conversion spots goes like this"

So, all joking aside, it was a joke.

PS. that idea was horrendously HILARIOUS! It may be the best script ever written! Jealous much ;)

And yes, that was a joke too. Calm down, Nancy Grace.

Huh? Well thankfully most of our viewers disagreed with you guys. We got a lot of positive feedback from viewers on this spot. Guess it goes to show that listening to armchair producers isn't always the best option.

Oh well, keep it coming.
