Identity Theft

What do you think of this investigative spot?

The main thing wrong with the spot is it doesn't make the viewer care. I don't see how it affects me, so I'm probably not gonna watch the story.

Sweet. I'm intrigued.

And I'd watch.

Not sure I would want my investigative reporter to be the hacker.

Intriguing, maybe. But I think they might have forgotten who they're trying to convey the message to. If I'm a 'local georgia corporation, maybe I'll care a little. If I'm a regular joe, there's nothing in here for me to care about. But, maybe there's a different reason to watch...sheer morbid curiosity about how I can learn to hack the system. I like the way they tried something different...but I think it might be a little misplaced. I would have tried to correct that focus in the scripting process before the promo was produced.

If they really "took control" of someone elses website without their permission, then they could have a big legal problem on their hands.

What does this have to do with me? Will my personal info be leaked? Does it effect the local economy? I'm not sure what this has to do with anyone except IT guys? Just sayin'.
