Political Ad Breaks

A couple of years ago, WCCO produced "Political Ad Breaks" -- spots that aired right dead in the middle of election spots.

We liked the idea and did our own take - featuring our "Good Day Sacramento" players.  The show is very popular here and very fun to promote.

I disagree with everyone else. I didn't find these funny at all. Mildly entertaining at best. I guess if I was familiar with the talent, I might dig em. I don't know.

Without going into the details of the content...do you really have the inventory to run all these :30's? If so, I want your promo schedule!

How much money is your station passing up by running these instead of political? We're not even doing topicals right now with avails going for 10x what they were a month ago.

I agree with the last post. I want your schedule...and budget.

These will not have a heavy run. They are designed to run in breaks where there are already several political ads - and there is a promo avail.

They also have a life online. On our website and our Facebook page has 26,000 followers... so we put them there as well.
